Why is Vitamin D so important?
Most people do total underestimate the function of Vitamin D. The most wrong diagnosis, when the body goes downhill.Everything around Vitamin D became a very interested topic for me, after I was diagnostic with a too low Vitamin D level. I had experience for month that I just was not feeling good. I avoid exercising, because every time I exercise two days later I was out. My back or my knee went out on me and I went into so much pain, that I was not able to walk or moving around. In the same time my muscle got weaker. I am only forty-six years old, but some days I felt like eighty. I couldn't explain it and I thought that these are the side effects from my medication.
After my diagnostic that my Vitamin D level was far lower than the minimum level, I started to make my research. I was surprised that all my medical problems I had was related to my Vitamin D deficiency.
This is a very common problem for people who working most of the time inside or elderly who avoid going outside, special in the cold winter months.
When no Vitamin D supplements are taking, it also influent the hormone production included the sex hormones or loss of muscle strength. As often reported, that Vitamin D metabolites directly influence muscle cell maturation and functioning through a vitamin D receptor. With loss of muscle strength, it also will limit the daily activities performance, and an increase risk of falling. In the same time low Vitamin D intake is also associated with life-threatening condition as cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. People who increased their Vitamin D intake with supplements made an enormous improvement; they gain muscle strength and overall health improvement. The use of dietary supplements, not only offer health benefits, but they will save billion in health care cost here in the United States. A study also reported that 776,000 hospitalizations for hips fractures would be avoided by the use of Calcium and Vitamin D.
Now is the question on you! Are you taking Vitamin D supplements? Or better, how are you feeling? Are you healthy, have strong muscles and feel young full with energy? Or are you stressed out, have health issue, overweight and just have not the energy to get active? Than you know what you need to do!
